Home Care For Autistic Adults
Autistic adult home care does not always have to be in group homes or facilities. You can allow your child with ASD to live independently and experience adulthood, all while ensuring they are safe and have help around the house. Our goal is to become your second family. We do this by taking the time to get to know you and your child, all while creating a bond. We know it can be scary to let a stranger into your home and if you are already caring for your child, we offer the option for you to be your child’s caregiver. No matter what route you choose, you know your child will be in the best care.
All parents are scared to see their child leave their home’s safety, but it is a part of growing up and letting your child fly. For parents with children with ASD, these concerns can be amplified, and A to Z Home Care helps relieve some of those concerns by taking care of your loved one. Your child may also be scared to live independently and our caregivers can make that transition into independent living a bit easier for them and you. We will communicate with you to ensure your child is doing ok and progressing through our care.
When your child starts to express their desire to live independently, sit down with them and talk to them about what they will need help with. Get their input and combine it with your observations of what your child will need extra care with and that will help you determine what services your child will need in their home and new independence.
A to Z Home Care’s primary goal is to make the quality of your child’s life good and help their transition into adulthood as easy and seamless as possible.
